“The Rani Kanda Resort, Rakchham” is located at an altitude of  2,700 m near Rakchham village ( between Sangla and Chhitkul Village) on the banks of Baspa river in Baspa Valley also called as Sangla Valley.  It is surrounded by beautiful and lush green forests, mountains and valleys.

One can take comfortable walks to discover the amazing fauna and flora of the valley, treks to view snow covered Himalayan peaks, angling for trout, experiencing some of the local culture and traditions, rock climbing, rappelling and river crossing  and many more. Our Staff will be helpful to give you the details.

 We have for our valued guests a two storied stone & wood house in traditional style, with well equipped kitchen to serve mouth smacking meals and snacks. In the evening the guests can keep the chill away while gossiping on a cup of coffee, tea and snacks.

The magnificent vies of the valleys, gigantic mountains, a calm Baspa river flow will take your breath out and at the same time add to your amazement and curiosity giving you a lot of everlasting and mesmerizing memories.

Accommodation

9 spacious and fully furnished double rooms, with attached bath and toilets, with 24 hr hot/cold water supply. Drinking water is filtered with modern purifier equipments.

Best time to visit

 “The Rani Kanda Resort” is open for guests from April/May to October depending upon Snow Fall, as this area gets a lot of snow in the winter.

Getting There:
It is around 230 Km from Shimla on the National Highway(NH)-22. Karchham is the diversion point off NH-22 from where Sangla is 17 Km and “The Rani Kanda Resort” is just 12 km from Sangla. Taxi takes around 9 to 10 hours. Enroute one will pass through Kufri, Narkanda, Rampur Busher, Jeory, Tapri, Karchham and Sangla.
